ARDF receiver

The receiver is made on the basis of the ergonomic design by Rusko , LZ1RT. From this receiver the customer can expect a lightweight and solid receiver which is easy to use - especially during a competition event. The receiver works in the frequency range from 3.480 to 3. 620 MHz /80 m band/. The sensitivity of the receiver is about - 125 dBm, which is absolutely sufficient for an ARDF receiver.The receiver is packaged in a solid aluminium case. Also available is a special case for left-handed persons. The entire setup is robust enough so that the fox-hunter can cut through the underwood on a chase without damaging the device. The receiver is has a total of three buttons - for Gain and for Frequency change, a button with which the receiving direction can be switched for precise „minimum bearing“ direction finding. The device also has one switch for the close-search tone generator. The receiver is equipped with a built in rechargeable battery with an operating time of about 15 hours. When the battery starts running low, a small LED light starts blinking to indicate this. The battery is charged through plugging in the headphone jack.

Headphones are required for the operation of the receiver. TA-56M recommends with MIL standard /50 or 100 Ohms/ 300-3000 Hz, or stereo headphones with 32 Ohms impedence. The receiver automatically switches ON/OFF by turninig on or removing the headphones. On the bottom part of the receiver, there is a place to attach a compass for comfort of use.

TA-56M headphones, a charger and a 650 mAh 9V Li-ion rechargeable battery are inducted.
